    Charles Dana Dexter (June 15, 1876 in Evansville, Indiana – June 9, 1934 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa), was a Major League Baseball player who played outfielder from 1896-1903. He would play for the Louisville Colonels, Boston Braves, and Chicago Cubs. An alumnus of the University of the South, he committed suicide in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, by shooting himself with a gun in 1934.
