Ken Coudret

Ken Coudret (March 22, 1937 in Evansville) is a former Athletic Director at the University of Evansville and is a member of the Indiana Football Hall of Fame.

High School

Coudret attended Evansville Mater Dei where he was awarded Evansville All-City Football, Evansville heavyweight wrestling champion, and a State Finalist in wrestling 1955. He graduated in 1955.


Coudret Attended the University of Evansville and he played football all 4 years graduating in 1960.


Ken Coudret was known as “coach” at Evansville’s Rex Mundi High School where he coached football. He coached future NFL Hall of Fame Quarterback, Bob Griese.

Coudret won SIAC football champions 1968 and 1970, and went undefeated in football in 1970.

His overall coaching record in football of 125-48-3.

He also coached wrestling, track, and tennis.

After Coaching

After Coudret stopped coaching he became the Athletic Director at University of Evansville.
