Louie Iaccarino

Louie Iaccarino is an actor, filmmaker, and producer from Evansville, Indiana who wrote, directed, and starred in the indie movie, Common Outlaw.

Early Life

Iaccarino grew up in Evansville and graduated from Memorial High School in 2005. After studying theater at Indiana University, he moved to Hollywood, where he attended the acclaimed Stella Adler Academy of Acting.


Iaccarino has been a credited in several stage performances including John Patrick Shanley’s, The Dreamer Examines His Pillow, as Tommy. As well was the lead in an original play, The Last Ditch, performed at Stella Adler Theatre.

Iaccarino played a major role in the 2015 released, sci-fi movie, The Encounter. The Encounter was directed by Robert Conway.

Iaccarino was a production assistant for the Production Assistant 2015 blockbuster, Jupiter Ascending starring Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis, and Sean Bean.

Common Outlaws

Iaccarino made his executive producer and directorial debut with the indie film, Common Outlaw. He wrote the screenplay, directed, produced, and acted in the film. The film is in the Western genre, and takes place in what is described as, ‘Set in the “timeless” River City, Indiana. A large portion of the filming was done in or around Evansville.

Common Outlaw premiered at the Louisville’s International Festival of Film in 2013. The original name of the film was “Green River Road: An Outlaw’s Tale.”

The film has seen mostly mixed reviews, and currently holds a 25% rating on RottenTomatoes.com. It is currently available on Redbox.
